Directional drilling techniques had to be carried out along 350m of the main archery road of the barracks due to heavy vehicle & personnel movement along this route 24hours a day, 7 days a week.

Directional Drilling

All road crossings had to be carried out in two stages, as road closures were not permitted.

Excavations

High Voltage cables were laid using winches and cable trailers.

Cable Laying

This coupled with excavations in varying ground conditions with numerous unknown & unmarked services, other onsite building projects & liasing with the military to ensure that their daily operations were complied with saw the completion of an accident & incident free project by the Overland Team.
