Flood Painting
Overland’s team of specialists carry out restoration works to live transformers, switchgear and ring main units in situ.
After an initial site visit by our Surveyor, a report is compiled detailing the exact work to be carried out to specific pieces of equipment, listing any new replacement signage required.
The detailed report is sent to our restoration team co-ordinator and a programme of works is compiled.
The programme of works and report are then passed on to our restoration team who visit the site and carry out the preparation works to the equipment prior to flood painting.
The preparation works are assessed for quality to ensure that the equipment is ready for flood painting.
Once passed, the restoration team carry out the flood painting process in a careful and controlled manner ensuring that there are no spillages or damage to the environment.
